Robin and Winnie

Robin and Winnie got married on 08 June! This pair of made-to-order dolls are a gift from her good buddies( CZ and friends) who wanted to have something special for them on their big day. The design of the gown was a replica of the gown that Winnie is wearing.

Below are some of the pictures taken on her wedding day~

In addition, i brought this pair of dolls for a outdoor shoot at gardens by the bay. Check out the lovely flowers, especially the tulips as it is uncommon to see tulips in Singapore. Through tulip mania, an event by gardens by the bay,  we got to see the tulips, even though they are only here for a short period of time. I really hope that one day i will be able to visit Holland during their Tulip Time festival where i can enjoy the magnificent view of the tulips blooming in the fields!

Rendy and Camille

Special surprise for the hubby!

This gift is for Rendy and Camille wanted to give him a surprise on their 6 month anniversary. Knowing that she will be on a business trip and is not able to accompany her hubby on that day, she decided to surprise Rendy. She customised this pair of couple dolls and had us to deliver it to Rendy's workplace in Tuas! Even though i had to wake up very early and it was a very long journey to his office, but all was worth the effort :D

Camille wanted something blue and yellow for his hubby as both of them like this combination. In addition, the love the beach and hence this gave me the inspiration to make a  pair of couple dolls with a beach feel.

There are many new attempts in this project : 1st time making a backdrop, my own transparent box and paper bag! I added some seashells which i got from Port Dickson at the bottom of the sign board that i made. I am really pleased with the end product. I love the clear blue sky with beach and coconut tree and it  makes me feel like going for a getaway! See the photo of the couple dolls enclosed in the transparent box i made~ Making a box is tougher than crocheting a doll~ Look like it's time for me to find a box supplier ~

The last picture are some bits and pieces of how the end product is made~ On the top right corner is a love letter for hubby Rendy. I have mosaiced the message and if u are curious what is written on the note....

I'm not telling you! :D

Minions Invasion!

Have you watched Despicable Me 2? If you have, are you crazy about the minions too??
Everybody around mi are into this minion craze~ Many people are even queuing up for the happy meal minion toys. Well, i didn't manage to get one, so i decided to make one myself~
Tadah! This is it and it didn't stop at one~

I made a total of 5 minions in all sizes ranging from 10cm to 20cm for LZ,Serene, WL,WC and Emily. All of them are two eyed except for emily's and she's getting it for her boss's daughter as a birthday present.
One Eye for Emily

Apart for all the minion, i made myself an evil minion, it's really tough making an evil minion and plantting the hair is the toughest chore of all~
I guess this evil minion marks the end of my minion craze for now!
